Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Pepper Marinara (SCD)

1/2 cup onion
1/2 cup bell pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
1 tsp crushed red pepper
2 cups tomatoes, diced
1 cup tomato juice
2 tsp italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic

Recipe Directions for Spicy Pepper Marinara (SCD)

  1. Saute onions, bell peppers in olive oil until soft

  2. Add garlic, saute for 30 seconds

  3. Add mushrooms, saute for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently

  4. Add tomatoes, saute for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently

  5. Add seasonings and crushed red pepper

  6. Add tomato sauce

  7. Simmer on low for 30-40 minutes
