Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Patties

150 g dessicated coconut, soaked in 6 tbsp boiling water
500 g Sainsburys Basics Beef & Pork Mince
3/4 tsp ground coriander
3/4 tsp ground cumin
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 egg, beaten, to bind
2 tbsp flour, for dusting
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Spicy Patties

  1. Mix the coconut with the beef, add the spices, garlic and seasoning. Bind with a little egg.

  2. Form the mixture into even size patties. Dist with flour, heat the oil and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side.

  3. Serve hot of cold with lemon wedges.
