A good, low sodium alternative to french fries.

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Oven Fries

6 medium potatoes
1/4 tsp ground mustard
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dried herbs
1 tsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 cooking spray

Recipe Directions for Spicy Oven Fries

  1. Preheat oven to 450.

  2. Spray cookie sheets with nonstick spray.

  3. Mix all the spices into a large bowl.

  4. Slice the potatoes lengthwise into sixths.

  5. Toss the potatoes in the spices until well coated.

  6. Place on prepared cookie sheets in one layer. Spray potatoes with nonstick spray if desired.

  7. Bake 15 minutes.

  8. Turn potatoes.

  9. Bake an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
