A savory and fun take on traditional mac and cheese. Less preservatives too, as its made with Annie's!

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Macaroni and Cheese

2 1/2 servings Annie?s shells and cheddar
1/8 cup milk
1/8 cup kefir
1/8 cup TVP
1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes with chilies
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tbsp onion powder
2 tsp hot sauce

Recipe Directions for Spicy Macaroni and Cheese

  1. Prepare pasta according to directions.

  2. While is is boiling, mix milk and kefir.

  3. Slowly add cheese fork and beat it with a fork.

  4. Mix tomatoes (drained), TVP, and 2 Tbsp water in a small bowl and allow to sit to rehydrate TVP.

  5. When pasta is finished, drain and add tomato mixture.

  6. Slowly add cheese sauce and mix well.

  7. Add spices and hot sauce.
