Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Chili Beans

32 oz Beans, Pinto, Mature Seeds
15 oz Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added
15 oz Tomatoes 'N Jalapenos
6 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 tbsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Oregano, Ground
3 teaspoon Cumin, Ground

Recipe Directions for Spicy Chili Beans

  1. Soak beans in water overnight. Drain and rinse.

  2. Add water to cover beans about an inch. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Cook uncovered for 2.5 hours or until beans are soft.

  3. Remove 1/2 cup beans and mash with fork. Return mashed beans to pot and simmer until sauce thickens.
