A modification of the normal version

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Chicken Tater Tot Hotdish

56 ounces Mini Tater Tots
1 pound gold'n plump chicken breast
1 yellow onion
3 cloves garlic
8 oz Mixed Vegetables Frozen
64 oz frozen cut green beans
3 tablespoons salted butter
1 cup 1% milk
3/4 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for Spicy Chicken Tater Tot Hotdish

  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. Fry chicken with onions -- add garlic

  3. Make bechamel sauce. Slowly add milk, then add most of the cheese. Add salt, pepper and cayenne to taste.

  4. Mix one bag of tater tots and all other ingredients together (except a little cheese to top the hotdish).

  5. Scoop into 3 square baking pans, patting it down. Top each pan with the remaining tots and sprinkle with cheese.

  6. Bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes.
