the diced tomatoes I used were the ones with green chiles

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Chicken and Rice

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts
13 1/2 oz. chicken broth
13 oz diced tomatoes
8 oz. green chiles
1 medium onion
2 tbsp. garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups rice
3 cups hot water
8 oz. tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Spicy Chicken and Rice

Spray skillet with non stick cooking spray. Cook chicken until no longer pink. Add all ingredients except rice and water. Simmer for 15 minutes on low. Add rice and water at hottest temp from tap. Simmer for 20 minutes with lid or until rice is tender.
