Makes 1 serving

an easy, relatively healthy marinade, which can spice up any chicken dish.

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Chicken Marinade 1

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp dijon mustard
6 cloves garlic
1/4 cup hot chili sauce

Recipe Directions for Spicy Chicken Marinade 1

  1. * you can use bottles lemon juice, or fresh squeezed. I've used both, and I think fresh squeezed might be a little more zesty

  2. * crush the garlic. It makes the marinade more consistent throughout, and gives the fullness of the garlic flavour to your dish

  3. * Mix ingredients together in a bowl, or right in the measuring cup

  4. * place your chicken breasts into a zip-lock bag; pour marinade in; seal the bag almost all the way, leaving a small opening at the end---suck the remaining air out of the bag with your mouth, and seal it up all the way once the air is out

  5. * let marinate at least 24 hours for best flavour
