Folks who like horseradish will enjoy this tangy-sweet combination. Baby carrots or regular carrots sliced into sticks may be used.

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Carrots

3 1/2 cup carrots, baby, fresh
2 tablespoons Blue Bonnet light Margarine
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Spicy Carrots

  1. Place carrots in a saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for

  2. 10-15 minutes or until tender. Drain and keep warm.

  3. In the same pan, melt butter; stir in the sugar, horseradish and parsley. Add the carrots, salt and pepper; stir gently to coat.

  4. Yield: 5 servings. Prep/Total Time: 25 min.
