Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Cabbage Soup

1 medium onion,
3 cloves garlic, chopped shopping list
1 tsp Chili
2 tsp cumin
1 tbsp dry mustard
1 litre stock
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
400 g can tomatoes
850 g sliced white cabbage
550 g red cabbage

Recipe Directions for Spicy Cabbage Soup

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of broth in a medium soup pot.

  2. Add onion and sauté for about 5 minutes.

  3. Stir in garlic and chili. Continue to sauté for another minute.

  4. Stir in cumin and mustard, and add broth and rest of ingredients

  5. Simmer for about 10 minutes.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste
