Spicy and sweet--best tofu dish I've ever had.

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Braised Tofu

252 grams Tofu, Firm
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
3 tsp unpacked Sugars, Brown
1 tbsp Chili Garlic Sauce
14 grams Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached

Recipe Directions for Spicy Braised Tofu

  1. Drain tofu well and cut into bite-sized cubes.

  2. In a skillet, heat the oil and sauté tofu until lightly browned.

  3. Whisk sauce, then add to tofu, and cook, stirring occasionally, until it sauce comes to a boil.

  4. Simmer for a few minutes, until thick and sauce is no longer a milky color. I

  5. f desired, sprinkle with scallion and ginger.

  6. Serve with rice and green vegetables.
