A simple one-pot pasta sauce that incorporates a healthy serving of vegetables and protein. A great fridge-cleaning meal.

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Bolegnese

6 serving Italian Sausage
16 oz Carrots, Baby
1 large Onions
24 grams Garlic
28 oz Tomatoes Whole Peeled
6 oz Tomato Paste
3 tbsp Vinegar balsamic
3 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

Recipe Directions for Spicy Bolegnese

  1. Shred carrots, onions and garlic in good processor.

  2. Remove sausage from casing and brown in pan with olive oil.

  3. After sausage is browned, add carrot and onions. Cook until soft, about 5 minutes.

  4. Add seasoning to taste--red pepper flake, cinnamon, catsup spice, salt, pepper, basil, oregano.

  5. Add canned tomatoes and tomato paste, breaking up the tomatoes.

  6. Add balsamic and worcestershire.

  7. Simmer for 20-25 minutes. Serve over whole wheat thin or regular spaghetti.
