Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Black Bean Soup

1 1/2 cups low sodium bush's black beans
1 tsp Better Than Bouillon Chicken Base
2 tbs white flour
2 clove Garlic
1/2 tbsp Olive Oil
1/4 cup Organic Refried Black Beans
1 whole tomato (medium whole)
1 serving, raw Cilantro
1 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
3/4 tsp Cumin
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Spicy Black Bean Soup

  1. Mince garlic and sautee over low heat in a pot. Add cumin, chili powder, refried beans, and flour. Meanwhile rinse 1 can of black beans in a colander.

  2. Add black beans, water, bouillon, and salsa verde to pot. Bring to a boil and then let simmer. Add more water if necessary.

  3. Top with chopped tomatoes and cilantro.
