A simple spicy bean mixture that you can use over rice, in tacos, burritos, or whatever you'd like!

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Beans

1 tbsp canola oil
12 oz pinto beans, drained
12 oz black beans, drained
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup water

Recipe Directions for Spicy Beans

  1. Heat oil with one clove of mixed garlic in a pan over medium heat. When garlic starts to sizzle add the chili powder and salt and saute for about a minute.

  2. Add beans and water, mix well, turn down heat to med-low and let sit until water is absorbed and beans are tender.
