Slow cooker soup, filling and great for lunch.

Recipe Ingredients for Spicy Bean Soup

1 cup dried black beans
1 cup ham, diced
1 cup carrots, diced
1 cup onion, diced
1 cup celery, diced
1 jalapeno pepper, minced
28 ounces canned tomatoes
4 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 yellow pepper, diced
4 cups water
1 tsp black pepper

Recipe Directions for Spicy Bean Soup

Simply put all ingredients in a large slow cooker, and let cook on low from 6 to 8 hours. Serves 8. Serve with a dollop of no fat Greek yogurt on top. I like to add some ground ancho chilies to it to really make it spicy.
