6 pitas
1 Cooking spray
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Recipe Directions for Spicy Baked Pita Chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Cut each pita into 8 wedges

  3. separate each wedge into 2 pieces.

  4. Arrange wedges in a single layer on 2 jelly-roll pans coated with cooking spray. Lightly coat wedges with cooking spray. Combine salt and remaining ingredients in a small bowl

  5. sprinkle wedges evenly with spice mixture. Bake at 350 for 13 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
