Recipe Ingredients for Spiced Tea

4 cups water (14352), tea bags and assorted spices and peels

Recipe Directions for Spiced Tea

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1 quart of water, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 whole cloves, 1 (4-inch) strip lemon peel, 1 (6-inch strip) strip orange peel and 1 pinch nutmeg. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.

  2. Add 4 tea bags. Let steep to desired strength.

  3. Serve hot, or chilled for iced tea. Remove the cinnamon stick, cloves, and peel before serving.
