Vegan spiced pumpkin waffle recipe with ground flax seed.

Recipe Ingredients for Spiced pumpkin waffles

2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 3/4 cups rice milk (I use oat)
15 oz pumpkin
1/4 cup canola oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 tbsp flax seed
2 tbsp water

Recipe Directions for Spiced pumpkin waffles

  1. Prepare ground flax and water ? simmer few minutes to make a gel.

  2. Sift together dry ingredients.

  3. In a seperate bowl, vigorously wisk together wet ingredients until well emulsified. Pour wet into dry and combine, barely mixing.

  4. Prepare waffles.
