Recipe Ingredients for Spiced Pumpkin

300 g pumpkin, Japanese
1 dash cinnamon
1 dash white pepper
1 dash onion powder
1/4 cup water

Recipe Directions for Spiced Pumpkin

  1. Cut the pumpkin into large chunks.

  2. Put chunks in a saucepan and just cover with cold water.

  3. Sprinkle in the spices.

  4. Boil until soft.

  5. Remove the pumpkin from the water, reserving the water.

  6. Rice or mash the pumpkin and mix in a little bit of the cooking liquid to adjust consistency.
