Recipe Ingredients for spiced pork with apricot sauce and almonds

500 grams pork fillet
1 large onion
150 ml cider
150 ml apple juice
1 teaspoon ginger
100 grams dried apricots
15 grams almonds

Recipe Directions for spiced pork with apricot sauce and almonds

  1. cook pork on both sides until brown

  2. add onions and cook for 5 minutes

  3. add cider and allow to bubble for a few minutes and then add apple juice stock cube and ginger. Heat and make sure that stock cube has dissolved.

  4. add apricots, reduce heat and cook gently until pork is cooked

  5. if liquid reduces too much add a splash of water

  6. serve the pork sprinkled with almonds
