No butter, vegan (if using non-milk chocolate)

Recipe Ingredients for Spelt Chocolate Chip Cookies

3 cups spelt flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sea salt
3/4 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp maple syrup
3/4 cup sunflower oil
2 tbsp sunflower oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Recipe Directions for Spelt Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Mix dry ingredients together

  3. Mix the wet ingredients together

  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the chips and the nuts

  5. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto a lightly oiled cookie sheet and press down slightly

  6. Bake for 7 minutes, rotate cookie sheet and bake for another 7 minutes.
