Recipe Ingredients for spelt buns

7 g yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon honey
250 g plain flour
400 g spelt flour

Recipe Directions for spelt buns

  1. mix yeast in 600ml cold water

  2. add salt and honey

  3. mix in flours and stir until dough soft with wooden spoon

  4. cover with clingfilm

  5. refrigerate overnight

  6. heat oven to 220 degrees

  7. cover baking tray with baking paper

  8. use 2 spoons to mould buns

  9. bake for 20 minutes

  10. they're ready if they sound hollow

  11. allow to cool for 5 minutes
