Recipe Ingredients for Speedy Chicken Stew

28 oz low sodium chicken broth
20 oz corn
10 oz lima beans
1 baking potato, diced
1/2 onion
1/4 t thyme
3 cups chicken breast, cooked and chopped
1 1/2 lb tomatoes
2 cloves garlic
2 T basil, fresh and chopped
1 T oregano
2 T corn starch

Recipe Directions for Speedy Chicken Stew

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a Dutch oven.

  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently.

  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

  4. Stir in remaining ingreients and simmer 10 more minutes.
