An Italian mix of Spaghetti and Lasagna. Recipe (modified slightly) from www.countrycook.net

Recipe Ingredients for Spasagna

24 oz. Sauce, Prego 100% Natural Spaghetti Sauce, Traditional, Jar
16 oz. spaghetti noodles
24 oz Light Alfredo Sauce
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
2 cups mozzarella
1/2 cup non-fat milk
1 tsp. parsley flakes

Recipe Directions for Spasagna

  1. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions. Drain noodles very well.

  2. preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  3. Spray 13 x 9 pan with non=stick spray.

  4. In a large bowl, combine alfredo sauce, mozzarella, milk and parsley. Stir well to combine.

  5. Add cooked noodles and toss to coat.

  6. Place entire mixture into baking dish.

  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 30 minutes.

  8. While it cookes, start browning beef in pan.

  9. Once beef is done, drain and rinse well.

  10. Return to med. heat and add spaghetti sauce.

  11. Heat through.

  12. After pasta is finished baking, remove foil and allow to cool 8-10 minutes to set up.

  13. Then cover with beef mixture.

  14. Cut into 15 portions and serve.

  15. This will freeze well.
