This is a quick recipe for spanish style chicken breast. Goes great with any sides....

Recipe Ingredients for Spanish Style Chicken Breast

1 lbs chicken breast
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp poultry seasonings
1 tsp olive oil
4 oz tomato sauce
1/2 cup sliced onion
1/2 cup sliced red pepper
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for Spanish Style Chicken Breast

  1. Pre-pairing chicken breast....Make sure you cut off all the skin, bones if any and fat. Cut chicken breast in half (Like making cutlets) and then slice into thin 1/4 in strips and set in a large bowl.

  2. Marinade....Add to chicken, salt, pepper, oregano, garlic and poultry seasonings and toss around till everything is coated.

  3. Slice up the onions and red peppers and set aside.

  4. With a big 12' skillet put olive oil and place over high heat. Pour sugar and let caramelize. (Keep a close eye on the sager. You don't want it to burn. You want it to just start turning brown.)

  5. Very carefully toss chicken into the hot skillets. Toss around and make sure all the chicken is nice and browned it will take about 5 mins over high heat.

  6. Once its all caramelized, reduce heat to med-low. Then add water and cook covered for 30-45 min, or until you have about 1/4 cup water left in skillet.

  7. Now add the tomato sauce, onions and red peppers. and let simmer down for about 10-15 over high heat.
