Recipe Ingredients for Spanish rice

1.5 cup Mahatma Valencia Short Grain Enriched Rice
1 serving Chicken 33% Less Sodium Broth Rtsb
6 oz Tomato Paste
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Spanish rice

  1. heat oil in a saucepan

  2. add uncooked rice and cook until grains are golden

  3. add chicken broth, water, tomato paste, salt, pepper (to taste) and any other spices (i.e. cumin, onion, garlic, ect.)

  4. bring to a boil then reduce to simmer and cook for 20 - 25 minutes or until water has evaporated.
