I use my rice cooker to make this, but it should work on the stovetop too.

Recipe Ingredients for Spanish Rice

1 1/2 cups long grain brown rice
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp minced onion
1 tsp garlic salt
10 oz Diced Tomatoes & Green Chiles
1 cup water
1 tbsp chicken bouillion

Recipe Directions for Spanish Rice

  1. Saute rice, onion, and garlic salt in olive oil for 3-5 minutes

  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir

  3. Cover and cook until liquid is absorbed
