Spanish rice is the perfect side dish for any mexican dinner

Recipe Ingredients for Spanish RIce

3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups uncooked white rice
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic
14 1/2 oz chicken broth
8 oz tomato sauce
10 ounce Rotel tomatoes
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Spanish RIce

  1. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Saute rice, onion, and garlic until rice is browned and onions are tender.

  2. Stir in remaining ingredients, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes, or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed
