Spanish Rice Recipe

Makes 6 servings



Side dish served with Mexican food. Also makes great tacos. Use in place of meat.

Recipe Ingredients for Spanish Rice

1 cup brown rice (minute rice)
1/2 cup white rice
2 tbsp. olive oil
3 tbsp. sauce (el pato)
7 3/4 oz. tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
2 3/4 cups water

Recipe Directions for Spanish Rice

Saute rice in olive oil for 5 - 6 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Let stand with lid on for 10 minutes. Serve warm.
