Recipe Ingredients for Spanish rice (per cup)

1 cup long grain white rice
1 tbsp canola oil
1 cup chicken broth
8 oz tomato sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp cumin
1 tsp granulated garlic

Recipe Directions for Spanish rice (per cup)

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add rice and toast until lightly browned.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer 20 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and serve.
