Healthy version of spaghetti - No noodles.

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Squash with Spaghetti Sauce

3 pounds spaghetti squash
1 tbsp olive oil
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp salt
8 oz tomato sauce
8 oz diced tomatoes
1/2 cup onion
1/2 cup red bell pepper
1/4 cup celery
2 garlic cloves
4 oz turkey sausage
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp italian seasoning

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Squash with Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Cut squash in 1/2, remove seeds, drizzle olive oil over, cover with tin foil and bake on 400 for 30 min.

  2. cook turkey sausage in sauce pot, drain fat

  3. add onion, bell pepper and celery. Cook until onion is translucent.

  4. add garlic and cook 2 more min

  5. add tomato sauce, tomatoes and seasonings. Let simmer 1 hour.

  6. take a fork and pull up squash out of rind. Serve sauce over the squash
