Traditional spaghetti made with spaghetti squash instead of pasta.

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Squash Spaghetti

6 cups spaghetti squash, cooked
1 can tomato paste
4 roma tomatos
6 oz. pork sausage
1/4 red onion

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Squash Spaghetti

  1. Baked the spaghetti squash in the oven at 375 F for one hour.

  2. Remove the squash, and allow to cool.

  3. When cooler, slice in half, lengthwise.

  4. Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and 'guts'.

  5. Use a fork to 'shred' inner squash meat into 'noodles' and discard shell.

  6. Saute onions and sausage until sausage is cooked through.

  7. Chop or blend tomatos.

  8. Mix sausage, onion, tomatos, tomato paste and 1/4 cup water in a pan, mix and heat.

  9. Serve a quarter of the squash with a quarter of the sauce.
