Recipe Ingredients for spaghetti squash with ground beef

2 cups spaghetti squash
1/2 cup water
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 tablespoon garlic
14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 1/2 cups shredded cheese

Recipe Directions for spaghetti squash with ground beef

cut spaghetti squash in half, scoop out seeds, place in baking dish cut side down, add water to the baking dish. cover and bake in 375 oven for 30 minutes or until squash is tender. when cool enough to handle, scoop out squash, separating strands with a fork. in a large skillet, cook the beef and peppers and garlic until meat is browned and veggies are tender. Drain fat. add tomatoes, orgeano, black pepper, and squash. Continue to cook and stir for about 2 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Transfer to baking dish, stir in 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 for 25 minutes, sprinkle with remaining cheese and cook 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
