Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Sauce with Red Wine

1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
24 oz ground beef, lean
56 oz whole tomatoes
2 cans tomato soup
8 oz red wine
2 cups water, approximately
1 cup celery, diced
1/2 cup parsley, cut up
2 cups mushrooms
1 tsp Splenda
1 dash pepper
1 tsp basil

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Sauce with Red Wine

  1. Saute onion, garlic and lean ground beef.

  2. Add canned tomatoes, tomato soup, red wine and just enough water to make a sauce, so it's not too thick.

  3. Add in celery, parsley and mushrooms. Sprinkle with Splenda, pepper and basil.

  4. Bring to a boil, simmer, partially covered to let a little steam escape to cook down. Cook for 2 hours. Stir from time to time.
