Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Sauce

28 oz can diced tomatoes
28 oz can diced tomatoes
4 oz tomato paste
1 onion
4 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Sauce

  1. In a small pan, saute onions and garlic in olive oil over medium-low heat until caramelized (~10 minutes).

  2. Pour tomatoes, tomato paste, basil and herbs into a slow cooker. Add onions and garlic.

  3. Cook on low for 4 hours.

  4. (On a weeknight just make in a large pot and allow to simmer at least 30 minutes!)
