Low sodium veggie spaghetti sauce - yum!

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti sauce

1 tbsp Olive Oil
4 medium raw Onion Yellow
3 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
2 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Green
6 clove Garlic
3 cup, diced Celery
2 serving Aylmer Italian tomatoes
798 mL Utopia organic diced tomatoes
2 serving Tomatoe Paste
1 serving Becel salt free margerine (2 tsp)
1 1tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
2 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1 dash Salt, Table
1 dash Pepper, Black
1/4 tsp Celery Salt
1 tsp Oregano, Ground
2 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti sauce

Heat oil in large pot. Add garlic, fry on medium heat for a minute then add onions and celery. Fry for 5 minutes then add peppers. cook over medium heat for about 15 - 20 minutes till very tender. add all spices and cook for 2 minutes, stirring, then add the margerine. Add tomatoes, and tomato paste and water, bring to boil and turn down to med-low. Add sugar and let simmer for about an hour, stirring often. Makes about 10 cups = 20 one half cup servings. Freezes well and is a good base for making homemade lasagna.
