Multi-use pasta sauce: spaghetti, lasagna, casseroles, etc.

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Sauce

1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
30 oz. tomato puree
15 oz. tomato sauce
15 oz. diced tomatoes
1 T. onion powder
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 T. dried oregano
2 T. dried basil
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Brown the ground beef. Drain.

  2. Add tomato puree, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and all spices.

  3. Taste. Adjust spices according to taste.

  4. Bring to simmer.

  5. Simmer as long as it takes to boil the pasta--this is something that tastes better the longer it cooks.
