Spaghetti with homemade sauce (no meat)

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti

2 lb spaghetti
28 oz crushed tomatoes
12 oz tomato paste
1 green pepper
1 small onion
2 cloves garlic

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti

  1. boil spaghetti until tender but still slightly firm. Drain and set aside.

  2. chop pepper, onion and garlic. Saute veggies in large saucepan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil until onion is slightly translucent.

  3. Add crushed tomatoes and tomato paste to veggies. Cook 10-15 minutes on low heat (or longer for richer flavor)

  4. Top spaghetti with sauce to taste.
