Super tasty. Would love to tweak the recipe and make it lower calorie, but haven't gotten around to it.

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Pie

8 oz Spaghetti
26 oz Spaghetti Sauce Four Cheese
8 oz Mozzarella, Part Skim Milk Cheese
2 large Egg, Whole
1 tbsp, leaves Basil, Dried
16 oz Ground Beef
16 oz Low Fat Ricotta
2 oz Parmesan Cheese

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Pie

  1. Heat oven to 350*.

  2. Break spaghetti into 2-3" pieces. Add to boiling water and cook till al dente

  3. Drain and rinse. Add 1 beaten egg and the shredded parmesan cheese to noodles. Place in a pie plate, forming a crust.

  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes while completing rest of recipe.

  5. Brown ground beef and drain fat. add spaghetti sauce to meat and set aside.

  6. Shred Mozz

  7. in a bowl, mix 1 egg, basil, and ricotta cheese.

  8. When crust has set, remove from oven and spread ricotta mixture over noodle crust, leaving a cheese-free margin of about 1" all around.

  9. Spoon meat and sauce mixture over ricotta, all the way to the edge of the pan (covering the cheese-free margin)

  10. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over top.

  11. Place pie on a cookie sheet to catch any drips.

  12. Bake for 25 minutes until brown and bubbly. Let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
