Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Pie

6 ounces spaghetti
2 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup cottage cheese
1 pound hamburger
1/2 cup onion
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
8 ounce can tomatoes
6 ounce tomato paste
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Pie

  1. Cook spaghetti according to directions on package. Stir butter into cooked spaghetti. Stir in eggs and cheese. Form into crust of a 10" buttered pie plate. Spread cottage cheese on top.

  2. Cook meat until brown and vegetables until tender. Drain.

  3. Add remaining ingredients (except mozzeralla) to meat mixture. Heat until blended. Turn into spaghetti crust.

  4. Bake 20 minutes @ 350 degrees. Sprinkle with mozzeralla and bake an additional 5 minutes.
