This recipe was originally 260 calories per 1/8 pie.. but we wanted 1/4 pie so that's 538 per 1/4 pie. This recipe makes 2 pies (two meals) Note: Use Whole Wheat spaghetti, 95 % lean beef and part-skim ricotta cheese

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Pie

1 lb spaghetti
1 lb lean ground beef
4 cup marinara sauce
2 cup ricotta cheese
1 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
6 tbsp parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
4 eggs

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Coat 2 pie plates with olive oil spray

  3. Cook pasta, rinse and drain

  4. Cook meat, rinse and drain

  5. Add marinara to the meat

  6. Stir in cheeses, eggs and seasoning

  7. Cover, bake for 20 minutes

  8. uncover, bake for 10 minutes

  9. Add remaining mozarella cheese and bake another 10 minutes
