"Semi-homemade" spaghetti sauce, with noodles and meatballs.

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti & Meatballs

340 g (about 24) precooked meatballs , homestyle
324 g thin spaghetti (about 1/2-inch circle per person)
3 oz bell peppers
1 tbl garlic
1 green onion
4 oz mushrooms
1 tsp capers
14 1/2 oz (1 can) stewed tomatoes
26 oz (1 jar) pasta sauce

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti & Meatballs

  1. Defrost meatballs and set aside.

  2. Prepare spaghetti (1/2 inch circle per person), according to package directions - OMIT salt.

  3. Spray large skillet with non-stick cooking spray.

  4. Saute' peppers, garlic, onion, mushrooms, and capers until capers burst and onion is tender.

  5. Add stewed tomatoes and pasta sauce. Stir until well-blended. Reduce heat and simmer until flavors are blended, about 8 minutes.

  6. Serve over noodles -- 4 meatballs per person (Whole meal is about 400 calories!!)
