Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Goodness

8 oz. whole wheat spaghetti
1 zucchini
1 yellow squash
6 oz. spinach
1 lb. pork sausage
14 oz. stewed tomato
1 c. half and half
2 tbs. olive oil

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Goodness

  1. Brown sausage. While that is browining, add 1 tbs. olive oil in separate skillet and add spinach. Cook until wilted. Once wilted, place on cutting board and allow to cool.

  2. While cooling, cut up zucchini and squash and add remaining olive oil to pan and brown zucchini and squash.

  3. When Spinach is cool after a few minutes, cut up.

  4. When the sausage is done, drain grease (yucky).

  5. This is a good time to cook your spaghetti.

  6. When sausage is drained, add spinach, zucchini, yellow squash, stewed tomato and half and half and simmer until spaghetti is done. (about 10 minutes)

  7. Drain spaghetti, and mix everything together and enjoy!
