at 472 calories, this is a pretty diet expensive dinner... but good once in a while -- serve with romaine salad...

Recipe Ingredients for spaghetti or fettuccine dinner

28 oz crushed tomatoes
15 oz turkey meatballs, frozen, fully cooked
1 tablespoon olive oil
6 oz onion, chopped
6 oz green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup basil, chopped
1 lb. spinach fettuccine
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for spaghetti or fettuccine dinner

Boil water and cook fettuccine according to package directions. Heat pan, add olive oil an saute the onion & pepper mix. Add the garlic and cook till it is browning. Add crushed tomatoes, meatballs and basil and simmer on low about 30 min. Assemble, sprinkle cheese and enjoy. Since it is 6 servings, I divide and freeze the portions not being eaten before serving.
