This casserole puts a different spin on Spaghetti. Use lean beef, and whole wheat pasta for the lightest side.

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Casserole

8 oz spaghetti
1 T canola oil
1 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped celery
1/2 c chopped green pepper
1 clove Garlic
1 1/2 lbs lean hamburger
1 T italian seasoning
2 t. salt
8 oz tomato sauce
1 lb can tomatoes
12 oz corn

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Casserole

  1. Cook Spaghetti until tender

  2. Saute onion, celery, pepper and garlic in oil

  3. Add Ground beef and seasonings and brown

  4. Add Tomato Sauce, Tomatoes, and Corn.

  5. Mix well, add spaghetti and simmer 20 minutes.
