Tyler's Mom's Spaghetti Casserole

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Casserole

1 lb ground beef
3 tsp minced garlic
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
3/4 cup water
24 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained
2 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
8 oz spaghetti, uncooked
2 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cut into cubes

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Casserole

  1. Cook ground beef and garlic until browned

  2. Stir in soup and next five ingredients

  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat

  4. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally

  5. Cook spaghetti according to directions

  6. Stir spaghetti and cheese cubes into meat sauce.

  7. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 11x7x1 baking dish

  8. Cover and bake at 325 for 20 minutes or until heated.

  9. Sprinkle with cup shredded cheese and bake an additional 10 minutes.
