Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Carbonara

65 grams bacon, (8 slices) pre-cooked, chopped into 1-inch pieces
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp canola coil
1/4 cup milk or cream
3 eggs, lightly beaten with fork
1 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp white wine (optional)
1 lb. whole wheat spaghetti noodles

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Carbonara

  1. Cook spaghetti noodles.

  2. Sauté garlic in oil.

  3. Add remaining ingredients except noodles. Stir until eggs are cooked.

  4. Drain noodles and add sauce while noodles are still hot. Toss well and serve immediately.
