VERY VERY SINFUL. I only ever dare to eat a couple of forkfuls!

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Carbonara

300 grams bacon, chopped
375 grams spaghetti
3 egg yolks, beaten
250 ml cream
40 grams parmesan cheese, grated
2 tbsp chives, chopped

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Carbonara

  1. Cook bacon in small heated frying pan, stirring until crisp. Drain.

  2. Just before serving, cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water, uncovered, until just tender, drain.

  3. Combine pasta in warmed large bowl with yolks, cream and cheese

  4. Sprinkle with chives and freshly ground black pepper, if desired.
