Spaghetti Carbonara Recipe

I found this recipe in the Cook Yourself Thin cookbook.

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti Carbonara

4 medium slices of Bacon
8 oz of Spaghetti
1 large egg
1/3 cup 2% Milk
1/4 cup Parsley
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 cup Peas
1 small onion chopped
1 tbls Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti Carbonara

Cook bacon set aside. Drain bacon grease from the pan. Add olive oil and cook onions until glazed. Cook spaghetti according to package. In medium bowl combine egg, milk and onions whisk together. Cook peas with spaghetti during the last 4 minutes of cooking time. Drain spaghetti and peas combine with egg mixture. Stir in cheese and parsley mix well. Crumble bacon on top of each serving. Salt and Pepper to taste. Makes 4
