Side dish, but could use as a main dish by substituting chicken or fish for the Bacon. I tried to input Turkey Bacon in the recipe, but couldn't get it to analyze the ingredients when I did

Recipe Ingredients for Spaghetti with Bacon, Tomatoes, Spinach & Feta

4 oz spaghetti, whole wheat
2 (slices) bacon
1/2 tbsp olive oil
10 cherry tomatoes
2 oz Feta Cheese, low fat
8 oz. Spinach

Recipe Directions for Spaghetti with Bacon, Tomatoes, Spinach & Feta

  1. Heat water to boiling and cook spaghetti until al dente. Rinse and drain spaghetti.

  2. Place in large bowl and mix immediately with chopped or torn spinach leaves to wilt the spinach.

  3. Chop bacon into small bits and add to bowl.

  4. Cut cherry tomatoes in quarters or use grape tomatoes and cut in half. Add to bowl.

  5. Crumble Feta Cheese (I like the flavored cheese with basil and sun-dried tomatoes). Add to bowl.

  6. Toss thoroughly and serve.

  7. Optional: Add Salt and Pepper to taste, if desired (but it doesn't really need it)
